Responsibilities:
  • Available throughout the school year.

  • Hold high academic and behavioral expectations for all students
  • Must be able to lead students to high levels of academic success in an urban school environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective curriculum units and lesson plans
  • Design and deliver engaging instruction that addresses the needs of a full range of different student learning styles
  • Ability to reflect on teaching practices and make adjustments to maximize learning time
  • Adhere to school management and discipline policies within the classroom and throughout school campus
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and above preferred
  • Commitment to teaching students from a minority and/or lower socioeconomic background required
  • Urban teaching experience preferred
